Campaigning Exchanges are already a PES activists classic! They have allowed activists to join foreign national campaigns in the last years (Spanish general elections 07 and Romanian general elections 08).
For the European elections we are asking member parties to make their bid to the PES to host campaign exchanges on each European Day of Action, with PES activists traveling to other countries to campaign together.
More information will follow in the next weeks.

1. Come to Dublin by desmondotoole on Monday, January 19, 2009 at 15:00
Representativs of PES activists Dublin have been invited by the PES Euro-MP for Dublin, Proinsias de Rossa, to serve on his Campaign Advisory Group. Dublin is the only PES seat in Ireland in the current European Parliament and there is a lot of work to do to make sure that we retain the seat in June.
I would like to extend an invitation to PES activists across Europe to come to Dublin to work in our campaign. When I met with PES activists in Madrid at the Council so many of you said that you wanted to come to Dublin ... so here's your chance.
We can offer you accomodation, lots of good Irish Left campaigning ... and quite a few special nights out in our friendly city. So, if you're interested, get in touch with me by email "otooledg at tcd.ie"
2. And Ireland East! by keith on Monday, January 19, 2009 at 15:06
We'd also love to see people coming to Ireland East - the constituency surrounding Dublin. With one of the two EPP members for the area retiring, it's PES's best chance of picking up an additional seat in Ireland. So we need your help!
We can be reached through Des (above) or at keith.martin -at- votelabour.ie
